There will be an AP Fair and AP Prom on Friday, May 31st. The AP Fair will take place in the gym from periods 2 to 4. Teachers can bring their classes to the gym to participate in the fair. Then during periods 5-8, we will hold an “AP Prom” to honor and celebrate our students who have taken on the challenge of AP classes and/or other elective sequences. The AP Prom is by invitation only.

The Regents Week is fast approaching. Students will be receiving their Regents Invitation this week to know which Regents they are taking and when. Students are only required to come to school on the day of the Regents that they are scheduled to take. Please see the attached schedule.
The Boys' Baseball Team is playing against Grand Street Campus for the Quarterfinals today at American Legion Field 1 in Brooklyn at 3:30PM. The game was rescheduled from yesterday. If the Generals win today, they advance to the semifinals game against Monroe Campus scheduled for May 31st. Go Generals!
The Girls Softball Team will have their first playoff game today versus Science Skills Center at 4 PM today in Randall's Island Field 13. Good luck! Go Generals!
Congratulations to the Boys Baseball Team as they advance to the Quarterfinals today. The boys defeated defending champions Tottenville High School last Friday to advance to the quarterfinals. Today, they will play against Grand Street Campus at 3:30PM at American Legion Field 1 in Brooklyn. Go Generals!
There will be a Color Day for all grade levels on Friday, May 24th. The SENIORS will also have their Carnival in the gym from Period 6 to 6:00PM, this event will be for SENIORS ONLY. The Colors Tournament will be canceled and rescheduled for a later date. The school will be closed on Monday for Memorial Day Observance.
The AP Spanish Language and Culture (make up exam) will take place tomorrow, Friday, May 24th at 8AM in Room C12. Good luck to all students taking the exams.

All students who missed the NYSESLAT test will be able to make up for the test starting today. The NYSESLAT Make Up Test Schedule are as follows: Wednesday (May 22) - Cafeteria, Period 1 to Period 3; Thursday (May 23) - Room 310, Period 6 and Period 7; and Friday (May 22) - Cafeteria, Period 1 to Period 3. Please see Ms. Cepeda to confirm if you need to take the test.
The Seniors are having a movie day afterschool today. The movies that will be shown are: Ouija, Set It Up, Violet Evergreen, Gran Turismo, and You've Got This. Participating students have to pay $5.00 for movie tickets, popcorn, and drinks. Proceeds goes to Senior Funds. Students have to be present in school in order to participate.
The Soccer Colors Tournament will be cancelled today and will be rescheduled for tomorrow. The Colors Tournament schedule will be as follows:
Friday, May 17th - Soccer Colors Tournament; Basketball Colors Tournament that is scheduled for this day will be rescheduled for June 3rd.
Monday, May 20th - Make up day for Volleyball Colors Tournament that was cancelled yesterday, May 15.

Today at 5pm is the New Family Orientation in room 103. Then, the Parent Association Assembly will also take place in room 103 and will start at 6PM .
Tomorrow, Tuesday May 14th, is NYSESLAT Testing Day 1. Students are scheduled to take the NYSESLAT from 9:22AM to 1:27PM. Classes will start at 8:00AM.
On Wednesday, May 15th, will be Day 2 of NYSESLAT Testing. Classes will start at 8:00AM with Period 5. Testing will be from 9:22AM to 12:05PM.
The Colors Tournament will start at 3:00PM to 5:00PM for both days. STUDENTS HAVE TO ATTEND CLASSES IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE AND SPECTATE IN THE COLORS TOURNAMENT.
