The seniors at Gregorio Luperon High School recently took a day off from schoolwork for a fun trip to Pennings Orchard in Warwick, New York, on September 27, 2024. This apple-picking trip gave them a chance to hang out with friends in a new way.
For many students, this was their first time going apple picking and it gave the seniors a chance to take a break from the stress of schoolwork, college applications, and all the pressures that come with their final year. Spending time in the peaceful, open orchard allowed students to relax and have fun together in a way that isn’t possible in a classroom. The trip wasn’t just about picking apples, it was a chance to relax, laugh, and make memories with friends.
